Lower Salford Elementary School said its farewell when it closed in 2013. The oldest of 10 school buildings in the Souderton Area School District, Lower Salford started assembly in 1912. The school was the educational center for many young students from kindergarten through fifth grade. From school holiday events to parades to back-to-school bashes, Lower Salford Elementary was always a place where memories were made.

DSC_0214.jpgLocated across the street from Lower Salford Elementary, Bergey Creative Group was able to witness the success of what was Lower Salford Elementary School for many years. The school has provided the educational opportunity for many students in the Lower Salford community that have come and gone through Lower Salford Elementary.

Since the beginning, Bergey Creative Group has enjoyed being across from Lower Salford Elementary, because the school has demonstrated what the community is all about. Since Lower Salford Elementary was one of the first buildings to be built in Lower Salford Township, it is no surprise as to why the school will be greatly missed. From the morning school bus drop-offs, recesses, and school events, Lower Salford Elementary has provided the community with the joy of childhood education and the experiences that come with it.

Bergey Creative Group will truly miss Lower Salford Elementary. Our company will always remember seeing the beautiful architecture of what was Lower Salford Elementary, seeing children get off the bus each morning, hearing the school bells ring, and the laughter of the children as they play at recess. These are memories that will never be forgotten.

Jennifer   Omg. So sad. This is the area my grandparents grew up, and I've watched it change drastically over the years. I'm glad that although there is so much new construction here, it continues to be a peaceful place to live. https://nynomads.com/2017/06/my-morning-run-in-rural-pennsylvania/
